CIAT/Carrier now has an opportunity for a Sales Engineer based in the London / South London area. You will form part of our Applied sales team and the main goal of this role is to develop new business and grow sales in the airside HVAC sector.
What will I be doing as a Sales Engineer?
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the airside HVAC sector and grow the sales in conjunction with our direct sales teams.
- Grow the CIAT business by implementing a strategy to gain sales through the M&E
- Effective Key Account Management of nominated vertical market sector
- Target and identify new/potential direct account customers (End User’s, Public Bodies, Installers, M&E) &/or specification accounts (Consultants).
- Maximising market share and increase sales revenue whilst controlling margin.
- Work in conjunction with the current direct sales teams to gain market share and presence within the allocated sales region.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge of HVAC industry, in particular airside HVAC: Chillers, Heat Pumps, AHUs, Rooftop and FCU’s.
- Strong sales background in HVAC dealing with associated installing contractors & M&E’s &/or specification consultants
- Knowledge of HVACR industry
- Competitor knowledge
- Ideally an HNC/HND or City & Guilds Engineering or related subject
- UK Driving Licence
- IT Literate with MS Office skills
