Overview:

The Clinical Research Program Coordinator’s primary responsibility is the overall administrative coordination and management of the research portfolio for the National Experimental Therapeutics (NEXT) Consortium, which includes a variety of Oncology and Cell Therapy Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs). This position requires a working knowledge of upcoming projects as well as active projects including management of regulatory documents and the overall eTMF. The Clinical Research Program Coordinator coordinates subcontracts with other sites and the Sponsored Projects Office, develops and implements processes across multiple study sites and maintains documents to ensure effective, efficient and compliant project progress. This person will also assist with data analysis and reporting for Data Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB) and other committee meetings, as needed.

 

 

Location: Columbus or Cincinnati preferred. Option for full time remote or hybrid office schedule in Columbus

Responsibilities:

Responsible for administrative management, organization of, and participation in program meetings and teleconferences, including meetings with corporate and non-profit partners, teaching conferences, sites and internal collaborators.

 

• Works with Sponsored Projects Officer to manage program and project funds and dissemination of funding to collaborations sites in addition to the subcontracts with other sites.

• Provides funding opportunity notifications to PI’s.

• Track projects and initiatives to ensure they move forward based on both timelines and budget; report to leadership when progress is lacking and identifies needed action.

• Track budgets and prepare financial updates across the study portfolio.

• May be responsible for administrative management of multiple protocols; plays a central role in the communication between internal and external partners as necessary to keep program projects on track (i.e., General Contracts Office, Research Business Coordinators, Purchasing and Accounting, externals sites and vendors), etc.).

• Manages and oversees all invoicing for program projects and associated sites, ensuring sites are submitting accurate and timely invoices.

• Manages both internal and external communication channels.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or Associates degree with two years clinical research experience or project management experience.
  • Certifications: ACRP or SOCRA certification preferred but not required.
