Overview:

The Sales Manager, Ecommerce will join at an exciting time of growth both for the business and team.  The manager will be responsible for the front-line sales management of the Dole Ecommerce sales strategy, and corresponding tactical execution, across Pure Play and Online Grocery platforms. This digitally savvy individual will be involved with building a leading digital capability, with direct responsibility for Amazon and other pure plays.  In addition, you will manage the Ecommerce sales and play a large role in the retail media strategy development and management. This individual will be the sales expert on eCommerce capabilities and will work collaboratively with our marketers and agency partners.  Additionally, this role will manage and oversee the WIC Only store relationship and help expand our presence through this programming. 

 

This role is based remotely in any of the following eligible locations: AR, AZ, CA, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KY, MA, ME, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, TN, TX, UT, WI.

Responsibilities:
  • Directly manage and build customer relationships with Amazon and other pure players, including grocery delivery partners such as Instacart, with the support of a full-service broker agency for sales, retail media & sponsored search and deductions management.
  • Develop & enforce brand standards across all Ecommerce channels and customers. This role will have a dotted line responsibility into retail sales teams with strong .com presence (Walmart, Kroger, et al).
  • Work cross-functionally with the marketing team in creative campaign and product asset needs, ensuring fit-for-platform, fit-for-shopper creative is delivered to you on-time and in-spec to deploy on PDPs, on brand pages, and in the retailer’s media network.
  • In collaboration with our agency partner and cross-functional stakeholders, create and align on KPI’s and methodologies for evaluating marketing spend effectiveness; Develop and refine plans to maximize ROI and business objectives
  • Own forecasting and actualization to determine supply needs and achieve growth
  • Develop customer roadmap for continued rollout across platforms to scale growth
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams on S&OP, fulfillment, chargebacks, and compliance requests.

Qualifications:
Experience, Knowledge, & Skills You Bring:             
  • A minimum of 4-7 years of industry experience in CPG within sales/customer development or business/account management roles
  • A minimum of 3-4 years experience in pure play eCommerce/Amazon sales, with working knowledge of eCommerce retail basics, traffic & conversion drivers
  • Leadership ability to accelerate digital transformation across the Dole sales and marketing organization by championing eCommerce agenda to Dole senior management
  • Strong financial and analytics acumen and ability to translate data into stories that drive sales
  • Ability to forecast sales, manage trade investment & ROI
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Education & Certification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit and use the computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones and use a variety of office equipment; ability to lift 15 pounds and reach overhead.
Travel Requirements:
  • 25-35% travel expected

FOR JOBS BASED IN CALIFORNIA:

Hiring Pay Scale: $120,000 to $150,000
