Backend Developer - Java (South America & Mexico)

About the Role

A globally recognized investment management firm, focused on fixed income and equity assets, is seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, and associated technologies, along with domain knowledge in finance. The role requires a proactive individual who is mindful of security vulnerabilities, capable of refactoring and improving existing code and adding new functionalities to meet business needs.

Job Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer

• 4+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• 4+ years of experience with JPA, Hibernate.

• Hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications on AWS Cloud..

• Experience in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.

• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

Offer Details:

• Long-term contractor position (no medical/paid leave)

• Full-time dedication (40 hours/week)

• REQUIRED: 8-hour overlap with PST (Pacific Time)

Interview Process:

• 2 rounds ( one technical for 30 min + one culture fit for 30 -45 min )
