OpenLoop is seeking Georgia Licensed Nurse Practitioners to provide synchronous and asynchronous virtual patient care. We are addressing gaps in healthcare by offering real-time telehealth visits to those who have not had prior access to medical care. About the Position
This is an incredible work opportunity in a fast-paced, innovative company that puts the patient at the center. This role is for a clinical care professional who delivers medical care using telemedicine modalities exclusively, including video, phone, connected devices, and asynchronous messages (chat/email).
Nurse Practitioners are members of an interdisciplinary care team working as staff clinicians with OpenLoop. They work independently and are responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making within the industry and locally established standards of care, clinical practice guidelines, and organization policies and procedures. Responsibilities
Postpartum visits – Perform a postpartum assessment including the Edinburgh depression screening and refer for any needs discovered.
Well-child visits – Assess the achievement of age-appropriate developmental milestones and provide anticipatory guidance. Assess immunization status and refer to close gaps.
Outbound calls – Reach out to patients who no-show appointments. Perform outbound calls to patients in any downtime (ie no-shows or schedules not being filled).
Communicates effectively with other providers, including using comprehensive charting and messaging
Collaborate with an assigned physician.
Delivers patient care that balances the best that medical science has to offer, patient preferences and values, and invests in patients' future confidence and skills.
Demonstrates flexibility by adapting as needed to change processes and practice in an evolving, ambiguous environment
Provide feedback about opportunities to improve the quality of care and operational processes
Must have current, active APRN medical licensure in Georgia (GA)
Other state Licensure preferred includes: GA, OH, IN
Multiple state licensure is HIGHLY PREFERRED
State Licensure MUST be reflected on the Resume to be considered for this position
Providers with Full Practice Authority is HIGHLY PREFERRED
Current national certification in family practice through ANCC, AANP, or another - nationally recognized certification
18 months of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family practice, primary care (preferred), or urgent care required
REQUIRED: HIPAA-compliant workspace required – Dedicated workspace behind closed door.
REQUIRED: Fast & reliable Wi-Fi (Starlink not compatible).
Outstanding clinical expertise, evidence-based practice
Competent in providing patient education at every visit
Above-average comfort with technology and assisting patients with troubleshooting technical difficulties that may occur in the home environment
Timely and professional
Telemedicine or virtual care experience a plus
Fluency in Spanish (both written and spoken) is a plus!
