How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?


 

The Static Equipment Engineer will be a part of our Mechanical Department. The position will report to the Discipline Manager of Static Equipment, and will be based in Kraków.


 

  • Performs the design tasks within Static Equipment discipline as one of several disciplines involved in designing plants for the petrochemical or refinery industry. Size of the performed projects could extend from feasibility study to turnkey construction of large plants, which are built worldwide;

  • Participates in projects execution including mechanical calculations, guide drawings preparation, inquiry preparation, bid comparison, review of vendors' workshop documentation, inspections and expediting;

  • Verifies project documentation with respect to its completeness and accordance with standards, branch regulations and contract requirements;

  • Participates in technical inspections by vendors (suppliers) of equipment in order to check the accordance with purchase order/specific design, support SQC team in preparation of inspection protocol/ report

  • Participates in development of branch know-how: standards, instructions,, computer applications;

  • Prepares technical part of offers, such as technical evaluations, specifications of equipment, etc.

Are you a MATCH?


 

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred, related to pressure equipment),

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position (in pressure vessels manufacturer, engineering office, assembling company or in exploitation of static equipment),

  • Fluent in English and communicative in Polish language,

  • Knowledge of pressure vessels,  heat exchangers, columns etc. design, as well as its manufacturing,

  • Very good computer skills including AutoCad or similar CAD software, highly appreciated knowledge of pressure vessels mechanical calculation programs e.g. PV Elite, Autopipe Vessel, VVD, etc.

  • Team work ability, regularity and accurateness,

  • Multi-cultural attitude,

  • Willingness to travel and to work for some time abroad.
