About the role

Simetrik is looking for multiple UI/UX designers with 3+ years of experience. This is a highly analytical and creative role, requiring strong UI and UX experience.

UX UI Designers play a crucial role in the creation of user-centered digital experiences. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly interfaces that align with business objectives and user needs.

Responsibilities:

Tackle user needs

Gather and analyze user requirements through discovery, and research activities such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to identify critical user insights and develop hypotheses to design effective experiences.
Develop high-level user flows, mockups, user maps, and prototypes to effectively communicate complex ideas and turn them into high-quality proposals.

UI Design

Create hi-fi wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize design concepts.
Assist in designing user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and consistent with brand guidelines.
Collaborate with developers to ensure correct and impactful implementations.
Excellent visual design skills.
Champion principles for composition, color, typography, and iconography.

UX Design

Work with the team to optimize user interactions and overall user experience.
Be able to create user flows, personas, and journey maps to inform design decisions.
Assist in conducting usability evaluations and iterating designs based on user feedback.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other designers, to understand project requirements and translate them into intuitive user interfaces.
Communicate design ideas and concepts clearly.
Ask for team members' feedback and incorporate it into design iterations.

Learning and Development

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX UI design.
Look for chances to learn and improve your skills by attending workshops, courses, and engaging in self-study.
Take the initiative to explore new tools and techniques to enhance design capabilities.
Propose optimizations and creative approaches to systems that can cultivate impact for users' needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of UI/UX design experience
Knowledge of design tools such as Figma, FigJam, Maze, and Hotjar, among others
Strong communication skills, having the ability to articulate design proposals to a variety of audiences, including developers, tech leads, project owners, product managers
Advanced at articulating complex ideas, and then executing them (using appropriately chosen deliverables such as sketches, wireframes, prototypes, sitemaps, user flow, and user personas) to drive product and design decisions.
Conduct usability testing to validate prototypes and interactions.

Prefer Qualifications:

Conversational English Level.
Experience at a Fintech, Accounting, or FinOps saas.
