We are seeking a Business Application Specialist for our NCC Finance Team to be responsible for investigating all requirements in a functional area and translate the requirements into process or application projects. This role is crucial to provide day to day support to the business in these regions and participate in all NCC Finance activities (ServiceNow, ICT and Projects).

About The Role: Driving Technological Innovation

  • Responsibilities:

    • Innovate and proactively work to develop and support business applications to ensure it best meets business needs.

    • Translate business need into technical specification and work with supplier to find a viable software solution.

    • Apply knowledge of systems to determine feasibility of projects.

    • Provide support for applications, implement application (construct and configure), deploy changes and do troubleshooting.

    • Configure and guide development of a variety of business applications.

    • Interacts and engages frequently with business to ensure that the solution meets the agreed business requirements and maintain active contact with business to ensure that the system in place is working appropriately from a functionality perspective.

    • Support the Application Engineers in translating the functional design into a technical design.
       

Skills and Expertise

  • Qualifications:

    • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar field.

    • At least 5 years relevant experience.

    • Affinity in IT service management (preferably with ITIL v3 certification).

    • Fluency in English and effectively communicating and networking with business stakeholders.

    • Soft skills like analytical strength, project management, collaboration, adaptability, good communication, global change management and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
