Our services provide Limited English Proficient speakers access to basic life services (hospital, legal, education, etc.) through our clients.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize the product backlog, work with development teams, and maintain the vision of the product. Additionally, you will develop the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), work closely with the UI/UX teams to streamline the user experience, and assist with product road-map development. 

We’re looking for someone who understands the big picture but can dive into the details. Someone who can quickly understand what’s possible, make a plan, prioritize the work, and lead teams to deliver great products and features. Product Managers at Propio are data-driven decision makers, building new features and products that touch people looking for language services. We expect a Product Mangers to help explore key opportunities for growth, create stellar customer experiences, and support all aspects of the business. 
 

The Product Manager role is primarily responsible for: 

  • Collaborating with internal teams on new product features, improvements, and user journeys 
  • Working with senior management and contributing to the formulation of Propio’s overall product vision and strategy 
  • Developing product roadmaps aligned with business priorities, client requests, and stakeholder needs 
  • Prioritizing and managing the product backlog for effective release and sprint planning  
  • Writing product requirements, collaborating with UX designers and the development team to develop solutions to business problems 
  • Translating business requirements into functional user stories, establishing story acceptance criteria and acceptance testing
  • Building trust and effective relationships with peers and cross-functional teams 
  • Effectively driving engagement with new features and enhancements 
  • Tracking success of features and maintaining a feedback loop with core stakeholders 
  • Developing and delivering product training to internal key stakeholders for new product releases 
  • Developing product basic documentation and working closely with other teams or team members to create materials including white papers, help documentation, blog posts, and customer presentations
  • Collaborating across internal partners as well as external customers to understand challenges/requirements for innovative solutions that help customers get to agreement faster  
  • Coordinating and executing beta/pilot releases 
  • Analyzing and understanding business data requirements to support the creation of accurate and extensible system  
  • Being the customer advocate for solution designs  
  • Evaluating trade-off decisions across the customer experience, development and operational support in partnership with stakeholder
  • Working closely with the development team to ensure releases meet -- and exceed -- customer expectations  
  • Continuously monitoring, measuring and reporting on key business and customer metrics and identifying areas for continuous testing and optimization
     
Role Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, a related field or an industry related discipline 
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager in a software development environment
  • Experience with translation tools like DTP, CAT tools (SDL Trados Studio, Across, Plunet, XTM, Wordfast, MemoQ, etc.)
  • Experience working with Scrum development methodology serving in the Product Manager role
  • Experience with content management systems is preferred
  • Prior experience in healthcare is a plus
  • Strong ability to influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across all departments within the organization 
  • Ability to make key decisions under a cloud of uncertainty with limited information
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced environments 
  • Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
