Handex is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Regional Sales Consultant (RSC) to join our team! In this newly created position, the RSC will make an impact in the Industrial Dewatering Services Southeast Region (TN, GA, SC, NC, AL) by utilizing your network and growing our services line in the chemical, refinery and pulp and paper arena. The position is fully remote. However, must reside in the surrounding southeast area.

Founded in 1968, we have over 50+ years of experience and have no intentions of slowing down!


My responsibilities and objectives:

  • Pro-actively seeks and generates new business in the Southeast Region by growing your industrial services pipeline in chemical, refinery and pulp & paper. Focused services in dewatering and sludge.
  • Identifies, prioritizes, and initiates new client opportunities to create growth strategies and identifies solutions to meet client’s needs.
  • Effectively builds and maintains relationships with key customers and leaders to consult and influence decisions for dewatering services, equipment/technology choices.
  • Regional travel to client sites. Travel will increase as region grows with an expectation 25% to 50%.
  • Develops and maintains accurate and current records of opportunities, accounts, contacts, leads, actions, and reporting in salesforce CRM.
  • Prepare Marketing and Business Presentation Materials and Client Presentations.
  • Establishes Account Plan's and communicates to management and client's progress regarding status, plans and activities.
  • Partake in networking activities and trade shows.

Requirements

Requirements and skills needed for success:

  • HS diploma/GED required. College degree a plus.
  • 5+ years successfully selling and driving growth in a regional sales role. Proven track record of generating and continually increasing revenue within the Industrial Services market for the Southeast Region (TN, GA, SC, NC, AL).
  • A true hunter along with an entrepreneurial and start-up mind set in sales is a must.
  • Knowledge of centrifuges, filter presses, dredges, and other dewatering equipment and processes is preferred by not mandatory.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Excels in the art of communication (verbal and written), networking and building relationships.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint. CRM a must and Salesforce a plus.
  • Willingness and comfortable travelling throughout the Southeast Region. (25-50%)
  • Reside in the surrounding Southeast area.
  • Driver’s license in good standing a must.
  • Ability to pass background checks (criminal/drug/alcohol) required.
