Your missions

Your Tasks

Infrastructure Management: Create, manage, and optimise our infrastructure.
Security Focus: Ensure the security and hardening of systems and applications.
Database Management: Oversee databases, queuing, and event streaming platforms.
Logging and Debugging: Develop an interest in logging, tracing, and debugging issues.
Monitoring Solutions: Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions and custom plugins.
Network Optimization: Enhance and optimise the networking infrastructure.
CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for deployments using GitLab.
Automation: Design automation solutions using tools such as Ansible.
Developer Support: Assist development teams with queries and provide access to various tools and systems.
On-Call Duty: Be available for 24/7 on-call duty per a predefined schedule.

Your Qualifications

Linux Expertise: Excellent knowledge of Linux-based systems, scripting and coding in languages such as bash and python.
Database Experience: Experience with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
Kubernetes Proficiency: Deep understanding of Kubernetes and its API, including managing deployments, policies and much more.
Networking Skills: Extensive experience with networking, including firewalls, VPNs, IPsec, and routing protocols.
Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with public clouds, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Self Motivated and Proactive: Curious and interested in problem solving, tweaking and simply making things better.
Communication and Social Skills: Outspoken, expressive and up for a laugh.
