QA Automation Engineer

Certificial, the creator of the Smart COI NetworkTM, has transformed how insurance coverage information is shared between Agencies, Suppliers, and their Customers.  We’re a fast-growing InsurTech that is in search of a dynamic and results-driven QA Automation Engineer to join our team.

The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role requires a combination of analytical skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of digital marketing channels. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a growth mindset who can identify opportunities and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.


What you’ll do:

·        Implement Quality Assurance best practices and methodologies 

·        Execute Integration, Performance, Stress, and Regression testing

·        Build and maintain an automated Regression testing tool, using an industry leading software

·        Create detailed test plans, and test cases, track defects, and report status to various levels of the organization, with deep system knowledge and understanding

·        Investigate and debug test failures, updating tests or reporting bugs as necessary and provide test coverage analysis based on automation results

·        Analyze large and diverse systems, primarily integrated via API’s

·        Works across multiple projects at once with a high degree of attention to detail

·        Collaborate and thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced, team environment

 

What you’ll bring:

·        B.Sc./B.A. degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline

·        3+ years of experience in general QA role, with knowledge of scripting and automation frameworks

·        2+ years of experience in regression testing

·        Familiarity with concepts of Continuous integration and Continuous Delivery

·        Strong analytical skills

·        Excellent communication and collaboration skills

·        Creative thinker with a growth mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

·        Experience in the SaaS industry or a tech startup environment


Compensation:

  • This role will receive a competitive base salary, bonus, benefits, and options. The base salary range for US-based employees is $50,000-$500,000.
  • Various factors are considered when determining someone's leveling and compensation, including a candidate's professional background and experience.
