The role requires an understanding on how to use automation but it is an entry-level role for testing various products before software release.
Using tools like Locust, Leapworks, Sip Front, and IBM Node Red to accomplish our tasks today.

Responsibilities

•  Writing test cases based on user stories for a new feature.
• Confirming that the bugs have been fixed as expected by performing confirmation testing.
• API testing to ensure that the responses from the endpoints are as expected.
• Report bugs on the new feature to prevent them from reaching production.
• Suggest some improvements for the new product, improvements related to user experience.
  
• Performed a smoke test on a new product to ensure that critical functionalities are problem-free.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software test automation experience.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
• Experience working with CI tools to monitor test automation such as Gitlab.
  
• Experience writing tests with Selenium, or other relevant tools.
  
• Preferred experience with testRail.
  
• Good knowledge in the testing process: Analysis, Test Case Design, Test Execution, Test Levels and Test Types, Results Analysis, Test Lifecycle Management.
  
• Good knowledge and experience in agile development environments, identification of the QA role in the software lifecycle, ability to add value in the different ceremonies of the SCRUM methodology, effective communication with the test team, as well as with developers, designers, product owner and project manager.
  
• Ability to discern the testing strategy from both functional and user experience and presentation layer perspectives.
• Ability to identify test cases that need to be automated, based on clear criteria and technical understanding.
  
• Experience implementing test cases that fulfill the cycle of: setup, execution, verification and cleanup.
  
• Ability to identify dependencies, steps, validations, and potential impediments to test case automation.
• English level: B2
