We are looking for a passionate and skilled Product Manager to join our team and help shape the future of healthcare technology.

Position Overview: As a Product Manager at Omnicell, you will play a critical role in driving the ideation, development, and execution of a key product area within our automation platform. You will be responsible for defining and validating customer needs and market opportunities for our next-generation automated medication dispensing solutions. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on addressing some of healthcare's greatest challenges, including initial implementation and migration, on-boarding and training, Out-Of-Box experience, Anesthesia workflows, and delivery of advanced services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a pivotal member of the Point-of-Care Product team, leveraging insights from market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement, and collaboration with subject matter experts to develop and refine prioritized product needs.
  • Collaborate closely with service and other product managers to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities for product improvement.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, UX, QA, marketing, sales, support, implementation, and other stakeholders to create and deliver a cohesive vision of success.
  • Partner with your product peers to identify key problems to solve, make informed trade-off decisions, and translate your priorities into actionable customer solutions.
  • Take ownership of the successful delivery of your product roadmap and share responsibility for the overall success of the products.
  • Proactively identify and manage cross-team dependencies to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
  • Develop compelling communication materials, value propositions, and high-level strategic justifications to articulate the 'why' of your product both internally and externally.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers and prospects to gather and understand feedback on existing products and those in development, conducting effective interviews to uncover their needs and challenges.
  • Clearly communicate the product vision, value proposition, and release goals to the cross-functional team during the release planning process.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Can operate seamlessly between highly detailed and technical situations as well as strategic business situations
  • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Lucidchart.
  • Deep knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape affecting healthcare products
  • Proven ability to measure and track customer satisfaction throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Excellent communications skills: written, verbal, group presentations

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years Product Management experience having led the entire product hardware AND software lifecycle from concept, introduction, launch to sunset
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Work Conditions:

  • This position will work out of an office in either Austin, DFW or Pittsburgh
  • This position requires up to 25% US based travel
