Position Summary

The Paid Media Associate is responsible for the execution of paid media strategies for individual clients of Rocket Clicks. As a front-line team member, they actively engage in paid media platform management on a daily basis to drive the necessary performance results for their clients. Their attendance and participation in internal sprint meetings and strategy sessions supports the Lead Channel Specialist in crafting ideal client work plans. The Paid Media Associate also prioritizes the most critical tasks, finding efficiencies through automation and delegation to deliver their best work.

Performance Objectives

  • Execute Rocket Clicks playbook for the particular client industry
  • Ensure account execution follows company First Principles methodology
  • Analyze performance data for monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Execute paid media tasks within weekly sprint planning framework
  • Execute experiments in ad platforms for client accounts designed to improve performance
  • Work with design and editing partners to ensure paid campaigns are using the most compelling ad creative
  • Manage ad accounts based on set target media mix and budget allocations
  • Execute regular ad account health checks to ensure proper hygiene
  • Implement and confirm ad account conversion tracking to support reporting and measurement needs
  • Attend internal virtual client meetings for context and clarity of tasks
  • Execute audits of client and prospect accounts using provided framework to harvest opportunities for growth
  • Execute research to support marketing initiatives and direction

Capabilities & Key Competencies

  • Knack for “figuring it out” when taking on new tasks or processes

  • Technically savvy, able to understand how systems work and interact quickly

  • Understanding of how businesses acquire customers digitally
  • Experience managing monthly ad spend budgets of $10,000+
  • Experience with Paid Search platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads)
  • Experience with Paid Social platforms (LinkedIn, Meta)
  • Reporting against defined performance metrics

Education & Experience

  • 2-4 years working for US-based professional services organizations
  • 2+ years professional experience in Paid Media
  • Prior agency experience a strong plus

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working
