As we continue to expand, we’re seeking an experienced Account Executive with a specific focus on City Sales to help cities and municipalities harness the full potential of our technology.

Role:

In this role you’ll be at the forefront of helping cities and municipalities harness the power of geospatial data to make informed decisions that enhance urban planning, management, and emergency response. You won’t just be selling software – you’ll be shaping the future of how cities around the world develop their aerial imagery data strategies. This is more than a sales role: its an opportunity to become a trailblazer in an industry poised for explosive growth and change. As a founding member of our sales team, you’ll drive our expansion across North America, owning the full sales cycle, from strategic planning to closing deals, and establishing Spexi as the go-to solution for cities seeking cutting-edge aerial data insights.

Location:

This position you will primarily work remotely, however you will occasionally be required to work at our office in the 800 block of Powell Street, Vancouver BC to foster collaboration and engage in strategic planning sessions.

Responsibilities:

Drive New Business: Spearhead the acquisition of new clients and expand existing accounts, leveraging your full-cycle sales expertise to maximize Spexi's growth across North America.

Master the Sales Cycle: Take ownership of the entire sales journey, from strategic planning and prospecting to negotiation and closing, consistently exceeding ambitious quota-driven goals.

Prospect and develop relationships: Prospect into cities and regions to generate sales opportunities and grow the customer base.

Champion Collaboration: Work closely with sales leadership, product teams and other key players to develop and execute strategic customer acquisition plan, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across the organization.

Become a Product Evangelist: Develop a deep understanding so Spexi’s innovative technology and its transformative impact on cities, crafting compelling narratives and delivering impactful presentations that highlight our value proposition

Build Lasting Relationships: Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers in city governments, fostering long-term partnerships that drive mutual success.

Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep abreast of the rapidly evolving world of drone technology and urban planning to inform your sales approach and maintain your competitive advantage.

What you Bring:

Proven Sales Expertise: you have 5+ years of demonstrated success in a quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales role, with a focus on driving new business and consistently exceeding targets. • Proven Track Record of Success: Your history of consistently surpassing sales goals and being recognized as a top performer showcases your ability to deliver results and contribute significantly to company growth.

Sales Development Background: You’ve honed your skills as a top-performing Sales Development Representative or in a similar role within a high-growth environment, giving you a solid foundation in the full sales cycle.

Exceptional Communication Skills: You possess impeccable written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to clearly articulate complex technical concepts and craft compelling narratives that resonate with key players at all levels.

Unwavering Drive: Your relentless desire to win is matched by a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You’re not just driven by targets; you’re driven by a passion for success.

Technical Aptitude: You have a solid grasp of technology with the ability to quickly understand the intricacies of Spexi's cutting-edge drone technology and its applications.

Bonus:

MEDDPICC Methodology: Experience with the MEDDPICC sales methodology.

Aerial Imagery Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the aerial imagery industry and its unique challenges and opportunities.

City and Government Sales: Previous exposure and experience selling to cities and governments.

Sales Tech Stack: Experience using Salesforce CRM and Apollo.

Salary: OTE of $130,000 CAD. We'll tailor the offer within this range to your experience.
