Role Summary
This position will effectively meet set goals and build relationships with clients and prospective clients by being involved in the local business community, engaging in prospecting and business development activity and presenting employee benefits strategies to the market.  The ideal target client of this position will be in the middle market segment which represents companies with 50 or more full-time employees. 

What You Will Do

  • Identify, engage, and market to prospects in the local business community using various sales methods
  • Maintain a target client list in various vertical market segments
  • Collaborate closely with other divisions within the firm to cross-sell and effectively service existing clients
  • Prepare and coordinate presentations for clients and potential clients, focusing on both renewal and new business opportunities
  • Provide year-round consulting expertise to clients on topics such as long-term strategic planning, compliance, wellness, and cost containment strategies
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Account Managers for proactive client account management

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Texas Life & Health license preferred
  • Sales experience with proven success demonstrated 
  • Business-to-Business prospecting experience preferred
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and have the ability to deliver effective presentations to groups
  • A foundational understanding of Microsoft Office; comfortable with modern technology
