Responsibilities

- Review requirements, and specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback;

- Mobile apps(Android and iOS), PWA, and Web app testing

- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases;

- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities;

- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs;

- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved;

- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs;

- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements;

- Monitor debugging process results;

- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions

- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies;

- Up-skill engineers with quality assurance thinking.

- At times design, develop and execute automation scripts using the open-source tool Cypress.

Qualifications and Experience

- 2-5 years of professional experience working as a Software Test Engineer or a similar role

- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant studies, although if you can prove you eat and breathe tech, feel free to apply;

- Experience with healthcare or research-based patient engagement solutions in the digital health area is a bonus;

- Also bonus points if you have had experience writing automated test scripts in Cypress or similar technologies.
