Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to provide essential support to our U.S. law firm clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and be comfortable managing all aspects of the litigation process. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering high-quality legal support.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case intake through trial and appeal.
  2. Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  3. Manage and organize case files, ensuring that all documents and exhibits are readily accessible and up to date.
  4. Coordinate and manage communication with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
  5. Handle administrative tasks such as email management, scheduling, and tracking court deadlines.
  6. Prepare and manage discovery, including document production, interrogatories, and depositions.
  7. Assist in the preparation for hearings, depositions, and trials, including organizing exhibits and witness materials.
  8. Ensure compliance with court rules, procedures, and deadlines.
  9. Perform other duties as required to support the legal team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably with a focus on U.S. civil litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, court rules, and legal terminology.
  • Proficient in legal research methods and experienced in drafting legal documents.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Experience working in a remote environment is a plus.
