Help the legal team stay on top of corporate compliance and manage our global entities! You'll handle tasks from keeping up with local registrations and corporate records to collaborating with various departments to ensure things are always running smoothly. This role is key to keeping Lightspeed’s corporate and compliance game strong! The ideal candidate for this role is a detail-oriented, self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities and sharp analytical skills.

What you’ll be doing:

• Keeping company files and registrations up to date by preparing resolutions and annual reports, and completing declarations and filings for multiple jurisdictions worldwide.
• Collaborating with other corporate departments to assist with various reporting and compliance matters, and updating minute books.
• Assisting in the preparation and filing of corporate documents such as incorporation, registration, amending declarations, and annual reports.
• Preparing various corporate documents, including lists, meeting minutes, reports, and charts, while managing corporate deadlines for companies in various jurisdictions globally.
• Conducting research in company registries and requesting eligibility and conformity certificates.
• Reviewing, proofreading, and formatting documents, drafting correspondence, and ensuring follow-up.
• Supporting the legal team with knowledge management, including learning and development initiatives and events.

What you need to bring:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

• Previous experience in the same/similar role
• Familiarity with corporate law in the jurisdiction where you have practiced
• Prior experience working in a global legal department is a bonus (but not needed)

Our hiring process is very straightforward. You’ll undergo a preliminary video screening and the whole process will be conducted at the comfort of your own home, through Zoom or Google Meet. No need to go through Manila's heavy traffic!
