EDI Programming Consultant

As a Technical Consultant on the EDI team, you will play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall EDI solution.  The successful candidate will be responsible for project deliverables, contribute to the proposal development, client training, and/or internal capability building, and help detail the project scope.

What you will be doing:

• Working with EDI formats X12, EDIFACT, VDA, ODETTE, and XML and developing EDI eCommerce Transformation maps for various EDI transactions
• Perform testing of the EDI eCommerce maps and deploying them to different environments
• Help assist in the resolution of errors resulting from the EDI eCommerce mapping process
• Setup and maintain Gentran partner profiles and maps
• Drive cross-functional continuous improvement
• Document and report progress
• Act as the subject matter expert for all EDI integration technologies and initiatives

What you need to succeed:

• Hands-on QAD experience is required and demonstrated QAD EDI eCommerce capabilities
• Proven understanding of EDI formats and QAD ERP
• Professional management-level communication skills with an ability to speak with diverse user groups
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree from an internationally accredited university.
• Vertical expertise in Life Science, Automotive, Electronics, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage desired.
• Professional demeanor to represent the company in all instances and to promote strong relationships with clients to continue and build business.

This is a full-time employment position. Candidates will work remotely and can live anywhere in India.  Travel may be required.
