Job Summary

Responsible for plan administration of defined contribution and defined benefit plans in compliance with regulatory requirements to provide customer satisfaction and contribute growth and profitability.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Independently interpreting and applying plan document provisions against participant and plan level accounts to assure accuracy of participant and plan level records and transactions in accordance with IRS/DOL guidelines. Interpreting the qualification of domestic relations orders and communicating next steps to interested parties.

  • Research errors and out of balance activities determining root cause, any client impact and appropriate corrective action to be taken including calculating lost earnings adjustments. Partner with other functional teams on any customer action or notifications. Reconcile activities within plan and participant accounts, and create client facing reports. 

  • Act as a subject matter expert on our various products and services. Consult with other teams and weigh risk on various options prior to providing recommendations on operational corrections. Use expertise to provide feedback to improve systems and processes, often used as a resource in systems upgrades and testing.

  • Mentor newer or lesser experienced analysts. Review work of peers and provide detailed feedback to assure accurate plan administration. 

  • Review recommend and/or implement process improvements to assure compliance with audit controls or changes that have positive customer impact or reduces company risk/liability.

PLEASE NOTE:  The shift for this role is 12:00pm – 9:00pm Pacific time.

Skills and Background You’ll Need

  • Experience:  3-5 years of experience working with retirement plans.

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, math or accounting preferred; or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.

  • Professional certification desired:  ASPPA QKA designation completed or in process.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.

 

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:

$62,750.00 - $92,000.00
