About the Role
 

As a Legal Taxonomy Specialist, you will expand US legal taxonomy with LLMs. You will also vet automated classification output and remediate poorly performing topics.
 

Responsibilities

  • Expanding the US legal taxonomy using LLMs
  • Vetting automated classification output
  • Remediating poorly performing topics
  • Creating and editing LLM prompts for best outputs
  • Annotating and constructing training sets for problematic topics
  • Utilizing extensive US legal subject matter expertise
  • Editing LLM prompts to ensure best outputs
  • Annotating and constructing training sets for problematic topics


Requirements

  • Have graduated from a US law school
  • Be admitted to the bar in at least one US jurisdiction
  • Have experience in the practice of law
  • Possess extensive legal research skills
  • Be proficient in using legal research software
  • Able to complete complex legal research across multiple jurisdictions and practice areas
  • Understand differences between complex legal concepts
  • Experience utilizing LLMs and familiarity with effective prompt strategies
  • Understand and able to apply QA standards and procedures
