Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Content to join our team at cryptonews.com. This key leadership role will be responsible for developing and implementing our content strategy, with a focus on creating high-quality evergreen content and expanding our network of informational and commercial pages. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain space, coupled with strong SEO expertise and team management skills.
Core Tasks:
Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with our SEO goals and business objectives.
Lead and manage a team of internal SEO writers, ensuring high-quality content delivery and adherence to deadlines.
Focus on creating and overseeing the production of unique evergreen content that drives long-term organic traffic.
Expand our network of informational and commercial pages to increase our online presence and authority.
Conduct ongoing market research to stay ahead of competitors and identify new content opportunities.
Ensuring all pieces meet SEO best practices.
Analyze content performance using tools like Google Search Console and Ahrefs, and make data-driven decisions to improve content strategy.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure content aligns with overall business goals and marketing initiatives.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the crypto/web3/blockchain space and incorporate them into our content strategy.
Ensure the overall quality and accuracy of all content published on cryptonews.com.
Essential Requirements
5+ years of proven experience working with crypto/web3/blockchain content.
Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
In-depth knowledge of and passion for the finance/crypto field.
Strong SEO expertise, including the ability to optimize content for search engines effectively.
Proficiency with analytics and research tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and others.
Experience in content strategy development and implementation.
Proven team management experience, specifically in leading content or SEO writing teams.
Familiarity with WordPress CMS is a benefit.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
