We are looking for a Hospitality Academy Admission Specialist with a strong focus on customer success. You will play a pivotal role in the recruitment and enrollment process of prospective students, ensuring the smooth transition from applicant to admitted students. 


Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate and assess applications for admission to our university partner - considering academic achievements, financial ability and other relevant factors - while ensuring a positive and personalized experience for each applicant. Furthermore, you will be expected to grow a larger understanding of the F1 visa application process to provide guidance & assistance to our international applicants. 


Your expertise will help in identifying qualified candidates & highlight areas for departmental improvement which will help create a student-centric approach. By guiding students through the customer journey, you will use feedback to enhance Hospitality Academy’s recruitment efforts, improve operational efficiency and ensure a consistent process by growing SOPs. 


Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Admission Department Manager to execute strategic admission initiatives effectively.



Requirements

  • Technology proficiency - understanding of CRM platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Ability to assess and analyze problems and suggest solutions.
  • Prior experience in Higher education or similar roles preferred.



Responsibilities


  • Candidate Evaluation
  • Review incoming applications for undergraduate or graduate programs to determine eligibility and suitability for admission into their chosen program and intake.
  • Applicant Support
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students, offering personalized guidance through their program specific application process.
  • Respond to inquiries promptly and provide accurate information regarding admission requirements, application deadlines and program specific details.
  • Offer individualized guidance to applicants, providing insight into academic programs, career opportunities and clarity regarding the anticipated student timeline.
  • Admissions Policy Compliance:
  • Stay updated on program specific policies, procedures and program requirements to ensure relevant and current information are shared to applicants.
  • Collaborative Coordination - External:
  • Collaborate with various university departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient processing of applications.
  • Ensure internal processes are adapted so the appropriate information is provided to students.
  • Collaborative Coordination - Internal
  • Work closely with the Admission Department Manager to execute admission strategies and meet enrollment targets.
  • Share relevant changes to our internal teams in a clear and concise manner to guarantee the company is providing appropriate details and setting proper expectations for the anticipated programs.
  • Promote a student-centric experience throughout all departments.
  • Data Management:
  • Maintain meticulous records of applicant information and admission decisions in student files & CRM following SOP for records management.
  • Generate reports to assist in strategic planning.
  • Business Development:
  • Collaborate with the Admissions Department Manager on identifying potential hurdles and possible solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop effective strategies for sharing pertinent information to prospective students.
  • Conduct analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities that can better the overall customer experience.
  • Implement technology solutions to streamline admission procedures, such as online applications systems and document management tools.
  • SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) Generation:
  • Work with the Admission Department Manager to develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the entire admission process, ensuring consistency and efficiency throughout the admissions process.
  • Regularly review and update SOPs to incorporate any changes in admission policies, regulations or university requirements.
  • Mentor other teammates and departments on SOPs and ensure they are sharing proper information regarding the established guidelines of the admission process.
  • This role is 100% remote, based on a set schedule from 09:30 - 18:30 Central European Time excluding breaks.
