Job description

Are you passionate about tax but ready for something different with an exciting career in wealth management?  You have come to the right place! We are looking to add new members to our cool tax services team. At Aspiriant you will join a synergetic team of tax specialists in our Exclusive Family Office providing tax advisory and compliance services to our high-net-worth clients. The Tax Services team is experiencing growth and several new Tax Associate positions have just been created.  Fun, cooperative team, who have years of tax experience, are happy to train new team members.

 

You will-

  • Prepare personal, partnership, corporate, trust, foundation, and gift tax returns, including quarterly estimates and projections 
  • Assist with tax audits and resolving tax notices
  • Assist with tax planning and research
  • Work with wealth managers and clients to ascertain, track, and preserve data needed for tax preparation and planning  
  • Review and prepare work papers, including tax financials as needed, for tax compliance
  • Assist with ad hoc projects

  • Excellent reading, writing, and listening skills
  • Partnership attitude and comfortable working in a team environment
  • Good organization skills and attention to details
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Tax preparation experience – a plus

 

You have-

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Master Business Taxation – a plus
  • CPA or passing parts of the CPA exam – a plus
