Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager for Poland, primarily focusing on sales in the food and beverage market. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in developing their sales career, with a particular emphasis on developing new business and fostering long-lasting customer relationships. Polish language proficiency is essential, and knowledge or experience in microbial detection and screening is a significant plus.

Key Accountabilities and objectives:

  • Drive sales in Poland to meet and exceed sales growth targets.
  • Develop and expand our customer base through effective relationship management
  • Inform EMEA Sales Management Team unsolicited on deviations from monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. 
  • Monitor all relevant food and beverage market segments, competitive offerings and share with the appropriate Hygiena functions.  
  • Contributing to the optimization of the EMEA go-to-market strategy, coordinating closely with the EMEA Sales Management Team, building an increasingly direct business model across the region 
  • Develop and maintain a transparent and cooperative team spirit within direct reports. Construct individual budgets and providing monthly, quarterly, and annual feedback on business results in the region. 
  • Develop and maintain close working relationship with strategic channel partners and Polish key accounts, supporting the sales team with high-level negotiations and high-value commercial deals
  • Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems and procedures as required. Seeks guidance as necessary.
  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
  • Must be able to fulfil essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Handles various other duties as delegated by Business Director Continental Europe 

Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management or life sciences or a related field preferred  
  • Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales and/or marketing experience in food & beverage market testing market
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS 365 CRM) WebEx, Teams or similar web meeting application.
  • Skilled and experienced at customer negotiations
  • Experience in people management
  • High level understanding of the market
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to communicate persuasively with others in writing, on the phone and in person.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect quickly with others and build solid relationships at all levels
  • Sense of urgency to impact results.
  • Must be able to use discretion and independent judgement
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to pay close attention to details
  • Must be able to adapt and flex to a changing environment

Working conditions:

  • 50% travel within the region and attending EMEA meetings internationally when requested
  • Days consist of either driving and/or flying and driving to see customers in the territory
  • May occasionally work evenings and/or weekends.
