Your missions

Product Owner – Access Management R&D IT

Eindhoven, Netherlands

Are you ready to join the future of innovation at NXP?

We are looking for a product owner with a strong background in Identity and Access Management with a good understanding of LDAP. The AM team has designed and built a completely automated self-service Access Management solution for the R&D IT Design Environment of NXP. It allows HW/chip design project teams to manage access to their design data, such that HW design engineers can work together in R&D projects on the next invention of NXP.

The solution integrates tools and platforms like OUD LDAP, SailPoint IIQ, load-balancers, Splunk, and ServiceNow. It also integrates a home-brew component built with Flask. The teams take end-to-end responsibility for their services and run them in a true agile mindset. They build it. They run it.

This is what you will do as a Product Owner of Access Management at NXP.

As a product owner of the R&D Access Management team, you will lead the development and improvement of the R&D Access Management platform. You will have ample opportunities to express your creativity and work with others to accomplish your objectives.

  • As a Product Owner, you will lead the AM Team by setting priorities, and assisting the team by refining and accepting user stories.
  • You will represent the business (R&D) towards the team, and answer team questions on the customer's behalf.
  • You are there to accept user stories according to your acceptance criteria and to keep the Access Management services quality level on par.
  • You will be creating the roadmap for the Access Management services.
  • Manage the priority escalations on our service.
  • Collaborating with other teams and stakeholders in the organization.

What is in it for me?

The team keeps a healthy mix of 80% development and 20% operational activities. This requires a constant eye on innovation. You can contribute to every development phase (i.e., from problem analysis and design to implementation, testing, and bug fixing).

  • You will receive support from your direct colleagues, a Scrum team of OUD and DevOps experts.
  • You will get training and personal development opportunities from NXP in alignment with your personal and professional needs.
  • The Product Manager, representatives from the R&D business, and other stakeholders will provide you guidance on the solution direction.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in an AWS cloud-based platform architecture.
  • You will work at the greatest workplace in The Netherlands (High Tech Campus Eindhoven) and be in a safe working environment that lives up to its company values.

Typically, you…

You can describe yourself as follows:

  • Minimum qualifications: bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Software Engineering or Computer Science
  • Working for 5 years in a similar role and overall IT experience of 12 years
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with IAM and Linux OS (preferably RHEL)
  • Experience as a Product Owner and/or Service Management role
  • Experience with working in a SAFE organization
  • Valuing the importance of working together with others to be successful as a team and part of a larger organization
