Your missions

We strive to do things better for the world’s most demanding brands. Is it challenging? Yes. But it’s a challenge that brings us together, where support, collaboration and inclusiveness empower you with a feeling of belonging.

Bring your goals and ambitions. We give you the trust, independence, and flexibility to run your career your way. Our support will bring you opportunity.

Our evolution is happening now, let’s bring it—together.

The Role:

Sourcers play a key role in our clients’ success by partnering with Hiring Managers and Recruiters and developing effective, consultative, professional relationships with them.

Through asking the right questions to ensure a detailed understanding of the client and each role, and by leveraging data, historic hiring trends and market analysis, Sourcers develop bespoke sourcing strategies and then use a range of tools and techniques to find the best talent in the market. Sourcers are brand ambassadors for our clients, bringing each opportunity to life with candidates in a compelling and authentic way to ensure they are qualified, interested and engaged before being presented to the Hiring Manager.

A Principal Sourcing Specialist is a true subject matter expert in recruitment and sourcing and will confidently partner with senior stakeholders to understand even the most complex hiring needs, developing sourcing strategies which focus on finding and engaging passive talent across specialist disciplines.

Key Accountabilities:

Act as a Trusted Adviser

  • Work with Recruiters to develop partnerships and working relationships that deliver a great candidate and hiring manager experience. You will lead on recruiting discussions and ensure you’re viewed as a thought leader who can expertly develop sourcing strategies that deliver great talent.
  • Partner with experts in sourcing and talent intelligence to develop effective sourcing strategies and ensure that you’re using talent intelligence to influence your client stakeholders and hiring outcomes. Proactively ensure you’re bringing insight and intelligence to recruiting discussions at the beginning of the process.
  • Show tact and confidence in talking to client stakeholders. Ensure you’re leveraging your knowledge and wider AMS network to propose solutions that deliver the right results for your clients and AMS e.g., proposing alternative ways to find niche skills in a competitive market.
  • Be accountable for the delivery of high quality, engaged candidate shortlists to your Hiring Managers with accurate and complete information to help them make informed hiring decisions. As a Trusted Advisor, make clear recommendations on your shortlisted candidates and speculatively introduce candidates of interest to your key stakeholders.
  • Work with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand and share candidate feedback, challenges, and successes, advocating potential solutions and making recommendations to inform and adapt the recruitment strategy e.g., hiring in alternative locations, exploring different talent pools or updating job descriptions.
  • Support, coach, and mentor junior colleagues, acting as lead in problem solving discussions.

Skills & Experience:

Must haves:

  • Fluency in English and Dutch – both verbal and written (at least B2+/C1 level is a must)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build great relationships and partner independently with clients and candidates. Clear, engaging and professional in written communications with the ability to digest, retain and utilise information to influence others.
  • Demonstrable mastery in recruiting and/or sourcing techniques with the ability to use data and in-depth market knowledge to inform sourcing strategies and create and adapt detailed sourcing plans to fill specialist and niche hiring needs.
  • Mastery of a broad range of passive sourcing techniques and technologies including Boolean and LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut and in house ATS or CRM technologies.
  • An understanding of how market shifts and changes in candidate behaviors impact the ability to source and hire great talent. The ability to use this understanding to adapt sourcing strategies and articulate key messages and be viewed as an expert thought leader.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities in a demanding environment.
  • Experience of using a range of tools and systems including in house Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Competent and confident in using MS Office, Windows and/or other similar products and confident using the internet to research and find information to design more impactful sourcing strategies.
  • Experience working to Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.
