ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As VP of Operations, Global Supply and Demand, you will be responsible for overseeing our global supply, demand planning, and consumables operations. This role will report to the CEO, and be tasked with balancing two core KPIs - in-stock-rate and inventory turns. You’ll lead a team sitting at the intersection of our sales, product, manufacturing operations, and finance teams for our omnichannel CPG and Hardware products.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all supply planning operations across our hardware and CPG lines of business
  • Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to improve our demand planning process, enabling us to take revenue targets and turn them into actionable supply plans
  • Embed you and your team deeply in our go-to-market product planning and co-manufacturing S&OP processes to ensure that we hold sufficient raw, WIP, and finished goods to meet demand, both for inline and net new products, while balancing our overall capital outlays
  • Proactively surface insights where products are low on stock, or overstocked, and work with the various teams to course correct
  • Partner with our Hardware and Manufacturing teams to bring new products into our planning process
  • Engage as a member of our PAX leadership team, representing the Supply and Demand functions
  • Mentor and develop a diverse team across supply and demand planning, logistics, and order management

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 10-15 plus years of experience in progressively more senior leadership roles in global supply and demand operations
  • Prior oversight of a multi-country global supply chain organization with manufacturers in different geographies from customers and corporate headquarters
  • Experience leading electronic hardware manufacturing teams and overseeing product development lifecycles
  • Experience working in a startup/rapidly scaling organization
  • A history of working on executive leadership teams
  • Strong track record of developing leaders within organizations

Nice to Have’s

  • Experience working in, or with, the cannabis or consumer products industries
  • BS/MS in a STEM field

COMPENSATION

In addition to the benefits above, this role has a pay range between $190-260k + equity. This pay range represents what we believe, in good faith, this role will pay. The final pay will depend on many factors, including years and depth of experience, level, and location of the employee. We only expect to pay the top of the range in rare and exceptional circumstances, for candidates that far exceed the requirements and expectations of the position.
