SolarEdge is looking to add a superstar Inside Sales Account Executive for the North America Sales Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a lucrative territory, closing new customers and generating revenue while achieving individual goals

Location: Remote, preferred TX or FL locations

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and close sales opportunities in accordance with the Company’s overall strategic plans and financial objectives
  • Actively pursue both inbound and outbound prospecting leads to generate new business among long-tail residential solar installers
  • Set up virtual training meetings for installers
  • Manage and grow sales opportunities with long-tail accounts in your territory quarter over quarter
  • Develop and maintain relationships with distribution channels, and in field sales reps
  • Understand customer needs and offer solutions for inverters and home storage solutions
  • Assist with forecast of revenue on a regular basis and review sales results to ensure that established targets are being met; take corrective action where required
  • Nurture the relationship with leading PV project developers at multiple levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for power conversion electronics for their installations
  • Successfully execute a brand and messaging strategy and act as an external evangelist for the brand
  • Liaise with the U.S. and global executive management team and peers to ensure that sales targets are being defined and met
  • Maintain all information in CRM
  • Call Lost Installer to regain business back

Requirements

  • 3+ years of quota carrying sales experience
  • Dedication to and commitment to personal and professional growth
  • This role has both hunting (new clients) and farming (handling and managing existing clients) - someone comfortable with both aspects, and strong closing skills required
  • Track record of over-achieving quota in past positions
  • Previous experience in the PV industry will be a significant advantage
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms
  • A distinct customer service focus 
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of CRM tools to drive productivity

FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE

At SolarEdge, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be approximately $60K-$80k. OTE includes base, commission, and equity. Target commission is an additional 50% of the base salary. Base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at SolarEdge. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
