Job description

Figma is growing our team of passionate people on a mission to make design accessible to all. Born on the Web, Figma helps entire product teams brainstorm, design and build better products — from start to finish. Whether it’s consolidating tools, simplifying workflows, or collaborating across teams and time zones, Figma makes the design process faster, more efficient, and fun while keeping everyone on the same page. From great products to long-lasting companies, we believe that nothing great is made alone—come make with us!

As Figma’s first Social Video Creative, you’ll collaborate with a growing team of social marketers to re-imagine and uplevel our social presence on channels around the world. Put another way, editing and producing “made for social” videos are what you do; storytelling and creating unforgettable marketing experiences are what you’re passionate about.

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you’ll do at Figma:
  • Collaborate: Partner with a growing team of social marketers and cross-functional teams (ex. editorial, events, research, product marketing), with an emphasis on developing and executing best-in-class social video strategies, content and experiences for multiple audiences and products.
  • Edit: Build bespoke social videos in both long and short form formats – tailored to specific platforms, including Instagram, YouTube and TikTok – that bring to life priority content themes and marketing initiatives.
  • Ideate: Play a leading role in brainstorming, pitching and producing “made for social” videos + franchises, demonstrating subject matter expertise to create content that’s on-brand, on-trend and right-sized
  • Produce: Capture content first-hand and/or work with internal and external production partners to establish a pipeline of social video content.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  • Deep experience editing, producing, and publishing social-first video content, tailored for specific platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).
  • A track record of defining, evangelizing and implementing social video strategies at a platform level, inclusive of always-on pieces + repeatable content series.
  • The ability to use social trends and/or data to find brand opportunities and influence stakeholders.
  • A history of concepting and driving the development of “made for social” videos and franchises.
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
  • Motion graphics or animation knowledge.
  • Virtual production workflows (i.e. experience using virtual broadcast and streaming software for recording).
  • Experience in product marketing.
  • Designer and developer knowledge and/or expertise.
  • Experience managing or publishing directly to brand social media accounts.
