About the job:
Role: Debt Collection Manager
Work schedule: Full Time | 40 hours per week | Pacific Timezone
Salary Range: up to 1,700 USD per month

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Debt Collection Manager to lead our team by example, dedicating 60% of your time to managerial duties and 40% to active debt collection. You will ensure the team meets its goals, assist in hiring new agents, and help debtors resolve their debts by offering payment options and addressing disputes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management (60%):

  • Oversee daily operations of the debt collection team.
  • Ensure team members meet task goals (calls, email replies).
  • Maintain an organized workflow and participate in hiring new agents.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Conduct regular team meetings.

Debt Collection (40%):

  • Contact debtors via phone and email to follow up on outstanding debts.
  • Inquire about email notifications and ensure they are understood.
  • Assist debtors in resolving debts by offering payment options and negotiating terms.
  • Address and resolve disputes related to debt collection.

Communication & Confidentiality:

  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Handle sensitive debtor information with confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in doing B2B collection and team management
  • Proficiency in debt collection software and CRM systems is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
