WHAT YOU’LL DO AT COASTAL

The Marketing Compliance Analyst II will support the bank by performing reviews of marketing materials for adherence to applicable laws and regulations and assist in monitoring and evaluating marketing activities to ensure regulatory compliance. The position will involve providing vital advisory support to the Bank and its BaaS Strategic Partners, supporting the Marketing Compliance Manager in ensuring marketing activities operate in full compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, and maintaining up to date knowledge of all advertising rules and regulations.


HOW YOU’LL DO IT

· Independently reviews and approves marketing materials for the Bank and its BaaS Strategic Partners, including promotions, campaigns, customer facing communications, social media advertisements, announcements and any other materials used to promote its products and services, for compliance with applicable laws and regulations within predetermined SLA timeframes.

· Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, team members, internal risk partners and Bank business line management.

· Maintains proficient knowledge of the rules and regulations, including but not limited to Federal Trade Commission Act; Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Advertising Rules; Truth in Savings Act; Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP/UDAP); Truth in Lending and Truth in Savings Acts; and Equal Credit Opportunity Act.

· Participates in internal and CCBX Partner meetings.

· Assists with completing reviews of websites and mobile applications for regulatory compliance.

· Monitors Partner social media marketing activities for regulatory compliance.

· Provides regulatory compliance guidance to business units and BaaS Strategic Partners regarding marketing compliance inquiries and program requirements.

· Provides support in overflow and escalations and provides secondary reviews of materials as needed.

· Because we are a rapidly changing organization, there will be other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING


 QUALIFICATIONS 

· Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements for Financial Services as they relate to advertising and promotions including but not limited to FDIC, FTC, Regulation DD, Regulation Z and UDAP/UDAAP

· Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote team environment

· Comfortable managing your own projects and deliverables, ability to resolve problems with minimal guidance and make general decisions for daily processing 

· Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

· Proven effective written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously and prioritize effectively 

· Attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to spot errors and give solution-oriented feedback

· Ability to maintain a professional and collaborative approach to resolving potential issues

· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, affected departments and BaaS Strategic Partners

· Willingness to quickly learn about new industries, products, and services, and perform research independently on regulatory updates and changes

· Comfortable working with technology solutions for meetings and communications in a remote office setting


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

· 2+ years of experience required working in financial regulatory compliance for a Bank or Fintech company 

· 3+ years of experience working in a Bank or Fintech company

$68,899 - $82,678 annually
