At Transporeon - A Trimble Company - we make opinionated products that change the way the logistics industry works. This role, sitting in our product organization, plays a dual purpose of supporting sales in large-deal opportunities as well as providing industry-specific insights to the product line leaders to advocate for ideal retail-specific outcomes. In the sales-support work you will influence different personas among the buying team. The influence targets gatekeepers, decision makers, and approvers in deals requiring budget commitment, cross-departmental agreement, or significant change management. In the product-supporting work you will evaluate products or planned developments in them against the needs of the retail sector and develop high leverage suggestions that would improve the product's value.


You are ready if you have ...

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in retail, either in a retailer or in a supporting organization such as a consultancy focused on retailers
  • A deep understanding and knowledge of logistics processes in retail
  • Deep understanding of the retail industry's trends, challenges, and opportunities, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Strong network in European FMCG & Retail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on improving retail operations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels;
  • Fluent German and very high level English is required, with additional languages considered a plus.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry is advantageous.
