Your missions

LOOKING FOR FILIPINO CITIZENS CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE PHILIPPINES ONLY!

POSITION: Junior QA Tester

Work Hours: EST Hours (40 hours/week, M-F)

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be tasked with owning the QA process across the platform, diligently working to guarantee that new product and feature releases are ready for prime time. The ideal candidate is an experienced software tester with previous experience working in an early-stage startup or similar, extremely fast-paced environment.

In your role as QA Specialist, you will be expected to:

Create test plans, working closely with the core engineering and development team
Quickly and effectively execute those test plans against software releases
Develop and implement automated testing plans
Produce and prioritize bug reports, while providing clear reproduction steps
Identify, propose and implement the latest testing tools to help monitor the availability and responsiveness of the RareCircles platform, and
Continually improve, maintain and socialize QA best practices throughout the organization.

Requirements

Requirements

1-3 years of experience working in a similar Quality Assurance role
Good written and spoken English
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience
Extremely high attention to detail, with a strong intuition for effective UX design
Self-confident and comfortable challenging the status quo and proposing alternatives to improve product and reduce friction
Well organized and capable of effectively working, prioritizing and communicating in a fast-paced work environment.
Experience using industry leading tools - Google Analytics, Amplitude, Tableau, Jira, Github, etc.
Experience in device testing using industry leading tools—eg. BrowserStack
Experience in coding e2e automation tests using Cypress
Experience in coding automated tests across third-party integrations: Stripe + Stripe Widget, Shopify, Klaviyo, Zapier.
Experience in configuring CI/CD pipeline steps for running automated tests—eg. in CircleCI
