Job Description: ITSM Specialist with Timecard Management and Time Tracking Experience
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced ITSM Specialist with 5-7 years of expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and a strong background in timecard management and time tracking applications, particularly those that are part of the Service Performance Management (SPM) module. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing ITSM processes, implementing and maintaining time tracking solutions, and ensuring accurate timecard management.

Key Responsibilities
ITSM Management:
  • Oversee and manage IT Service Management processes, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement of ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective ITSM solutions.

Timecard and Time Tracking Management:
  • Implement and maintain timecard management and time tracking applications within the SPM module.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of time spent on various projects and tasks.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures for timecard management and time tracking.

System Integration and Customization:
  • Integrate time tracking applications with other ITSM tools and systems.
  • Customize time tracking solutions to meet specific business requirements.
  • Develop custom scripts and workflows to automate time tracking processes.

Training and Support:
  • Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users on timecard management and time tracking applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to time tracking and timecard management.
  • Generate and distribute regular reports on time tracking and timecard management performance.

Qualifications
Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or Cherwell.
  • Strong proficiency in timecard management and time tracking applications, particularly those within the SPM module.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL best practices and ITSM frameworks.

Experience:
  • 5-7 years of experience in IT Service Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in timecard management and time tracking applications.
  • Experience with integrating time tracking solutions with other IT systems.

Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or higher is preferred.
