Your missions

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and four years of experience.

Job Summary:

Provides pre and post award grant expertise to faculty members and principal investigators in planning, coordinating, and monitoring research activities and the departments procedures designed to comply with appropriate regulations relating to research grants and contracts. Serves as a liaison between the Department and other departments and the Office of Sponsored Programs relating to research activities.

Job Duties:

  • Helps to provide a centralized financial administration and coordination of grant activities.
  • Plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates all aspects of grant-related initiatives including acquisitions, training, and compliance within the terms of the grant and grant process.
  • Help to create written policies and procedures for our faculty and staff.
  • Works jointly with all Principal Investigators within the department to facilitate and support research.
  • Monitors the time and effort reports and advises Department Administrator, Faculty, Principal Investigators, and staff on fiscal responsibilities and project timelines.
  • Audits completed research projects, including analysis of revenue received, earned, and communicated and discrepancies.
  • Markets services to campus and build positive working relationships with faculty and academic departments.
  • Exercise independent judgment and initiative to perform a variety of detailed grants management functions.
  • Maintain and organize grant and contract files.
  • Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of computers and job related software programs, such as Microsoft Office
  • Skills in researching and preparing reports
  • Skills in effective oral and written communication
  • Skills in prioritizing and multi-tasking

Salary Range:

$60,480 - $75,600; Annual Salary commensurate with experience.
