A Day in the Life

The Diabetes Operating Unit focuses on improving the lives of those within the global diabetes community. As a business, we strive to empower people with diabetes to live life on their terms by delivering innovation that truly matters and providing support in the ways they need it. We’re committed to meeting people with diabetes where they are in their journey, always with an aim to make their lives easier. Our portfolio of innovative solutions are designed to provide customers greater freedom and better health, helping them achieve better glucose control, while spending less time managing their disease.

A Day in the Life

  • Personal supporting to the Business Leader on Calendar Management, Travel organization (Concur) and Expenses support.
  • Managing Commercial Excellence Team calendar, Team meetings, and activities for two regional (EMEA, USA) regions.
  • Helping with new team members on-boarding.
  • Coordinating EMEA cross-functional and regional activities with your EMEA peers/colleagues, playing an active role in organization of EMEA Diabetes staff events.
  • Organizing of internal/external meetings, including trainings with a full ownership of the logistics (conference room, catering, agenda, accommodation, transportation).
  • Purchasing Requests/Purchase Orders creation (Ariba), Monthly accruals, Recharges and Vendor profile maintenance.
  • Coordinating Project based activities focused on Process Improvement and Transformation Initiatives.


Must-Haves

  • Degree in business or equivalent
  • Project Management Experience. Lean Six Sigma knowledg
  • Commitment, pro-activity and accountability are a must
  • Desire to get involved in the business and being part of the Team.
  • Experience as a personal assistant or event manager.
  • Proven track record to manage multiple tasks and react adequately to changing priorities and last-minute changes.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP).
  • Knowledge of eCATS and Cvent an advantage.
  • Perfectly fluent in English (other languages will be appreciated).
  • Detail oriented and working with positive attitude.
  • Organized in managing projects, able to prioritize, independent.
  • Flexible in a changing environment.
  • Passionate and interested in learning and developing new skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
