Position: Marketing Director

Location: Remote

Working Hours: PST / 40 hours per week (Full-time)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Marketing Director to lead our marketing department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth and enhance brand recognition. As the Marketing Director, you will oversee all marketing activities, manage a talented team, and collaborate with other departments to achieve our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with company goals and drive growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across various platforms, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Establish KPIs, monitor marketing performance, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Work closely with the sales, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and support business objectives.
  • Oversee the development of compelling and relevant content for various marketing channels.
  • Stay updated on the latest marketing trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve marketing efforts.
  • Manage the entirety of the marketing team and their campaigns from concept to completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Substantial experience in D2C and e-commerce marketing.
  • Proven track record in developing marketing strategies for smaller brands with a strong branding presence.
  • Thorough understanding of the US market, particularly in the outdoor or apparel sectors.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Experience in brand management and developing brand strategies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and detail.
