Job description

The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the successful completion of Authorium onboarding and implementation projects or consulting projects to meet the needs of the customer, as defined in the scope of work (SOW). Their role is to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within the allocated budget, and according to the defined scope and quality standards. The PM will work alongside Solution Engineers, who will configure products for clients and support any technical questions they may have. The PM will also work with Authorium Consultants as-needed to deliver procurement support and subject matter expertise as defined in the SOW. PMs will serve as the main point of contact (PoC) during the onboarding or implementation process, until the product has launched, when they will transition the customer to the Customer Success team. The PM will maintain a professional relationship with clients to learn the challenges they're facing and assist in implementation according to those needs.

Key responsibilities of the Project Manager role include:

    • Manage project resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment.
    • Conduct regular team meetings, provide guidance, and resolve issues or conflicts.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Establish and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

    • Ensure proper documentation of project scope, objectives, and lessons learned for future reference.
    • Facilitate project closure activities, including project evaluation, final reporting, and archiving of project documents.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the project team.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and project management best practices.

At Authorium, we’re well aware of the impact the government can have on people’s lives. We won’t rest until every government has access to the modern technologies the private sector takes for granted. The barrier here is legacy procurement processes that can be byzantine in complexity. We are looking for a Project Manager to help understand customer needs and present solutions accordingly as we grow Authorium to the next level. This role will include up to 25% travel for on-site customer work.
