Your missions

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, eager, and fast-learning Solutions Engineer to join our growing, innovative team!

The Solutions Engineer is a highly visible subject matter expert participating in the pre-sales and post-sales stages of customer engagements, and a strategic driver for design and successful implementation of customer solutions. This role requires a unique blend of technical, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal/communication skills with a foundational understanding of Python, Database Management, AWS or Azure and UNIX shell scripting.

Key Duties:

As part of a cross-functional team across our engineering, customer success and product organizations, work to deliver a world class solution to Verity’s clients.

Design, implement, execute, and help to maintain customer solutions for top Global Asset Management organizations.

Build key components that enhance customer experience and workflows using VerityRMS platform’s capabilities.

Build, implement and execute client data migrations and integrations for large data sets.

Support with roll-out of the customer-specific solutions in AWS and / or Azure environments

Support the global sales team in both pre and post sales initiatives.

Improve technical internal and customer-facing documentation to empower our global customers to maximize the potential of VerityRMS.

About You:

Engineering or technical-related undergraduate degree.

3-5+ years working in a technical related role.

3+ years in an Enterprise Software implementation role.

2+ years of experience in software development, including hands-on experience with Python or Ruby or Java, MySQL database management, AWS, Azure and Unix shell scripting.

Experience in front and back-end technologies including, but not limited to: SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Good problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Positive, pragmatic, proactive, and flexible attitude: a strong ability to work well with others.

Awareness of, and experience dealing with, Windows-based applications is a plus.

Experience with Ruby-on-Rails, Django, Grails or similar frameworks is a plus.

Experience and understanding of modern web architectures is a plus.
