The position we are hiring is for a Technical Skills Mentor - someone with a passion for Coaching and facilitating learning.

Your core work will be to ensure that the newly admitted students at Masai School have a phenomenal experience as well as they are able to cope up with the pace of the curriculum at Masai School.

What is expected of you?

- Effectively mentor and develop students' competencies in basic web development technologies while fostering a collaborative and engaging learning environment.

- Conduct 2 live one-to-many sessions per week for the students.

- Each session will be of duration: 60mins

- Help students enhance their problem-solving skills that include structured thought processes and how to solve problems from scratch.

- Have a strong understanding of one or more of these languages- Java/Javascript/Python.

Demonstrated patience and empathy when working with students of varying skill levels and backgrounds, adapting your approach as needed to ensure their success.
Self-starting with the ability to effectively work autonomously with little oversight
People management skills
Able to engage with students via a high-energy, enthusiastic, motivational training style
Have a non-traditional story. Most of our students have taken a unique path to their new jobs. We like team members who know what it's like to do that!
Have teaching experience and have dealt with students from under-resourced backgrounds
