Senior Project Manager

What You Will Do:

• Develop and manage large complex technical projects plans, Translate strategic directions and business opportunities into program and project.
• Provide clear guidance and project execution, which lead to expected project results. 
• Manage project execution, striving to deliver a project that exceeds the needs of the client. 
• Manage third party relationships involved in the overall implementation project to include scheduling, budget control and insuring deliverables are defined and completed on schedule. 
• Ensures predictable, consistent, and successful solution delivery by establishing joint agreement of the foundational Engagement Control components including mechanisms to set and manage expectations and ensure on-going control of the program.
• Governance: Organizational alignment formalizing overall team structure, roles and responsibilities, and escalation.
• Communication: Framework regarding how information is distributed; types of meetings alignment of associated tools.  Communicates program information and status to the executives and stakeholders and provides engagement oversight of the program related projects/efforts.  
• Project/Program Management: Status Reporting, Project/Program plan, Action & Issue, Risk, Decision and Change Management. Performs ongoing review of program status; identifies risks. Documents program progress including implementation, timelines, issues, risks, and successes to maintain program course. 
• Travel up to 30% of time .
• Ensures a holistic view by coordinating with and monitoring all impacted business processes to support the transition from sales to delivery and from delivery to operational support. 
• Develops and maintains strong working relationships and strategic partnerships with external (e.g., primary interface with the client program leadership) and internal key stakeholders/customers across groups and/or business units to maximize effectiveness and influence and is seen as a single point of escalation during implementation.
• Builds and fosters a high-performance matrix team ensuring predictable, consistent, and successful program delivery through direct management and overall coordination of all programs related projects and tracks of work.  

Required:

• 7+ years of end-to-end project management in the delivery/deployment of large, complex, enterprise systems including integration, development and experience in the major phases of a conversion project: analysis, design, testing, implementation, and training.
• 5 years of experience in custom client software implementation, systems and integration.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to delegate, and work with all levels of an organization.
• Conceptual knowledge surrounding the use of API’s, cloud environments, Software Development Life Cycle with vendor dependency relationships and ITL. 

Desired

• Master’s degree in management information systems, business, or a related field.
• Process management/improvement in solution/implementation delivery methodologies.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries.

• Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
• Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
• Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
• Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
