POSITION SUMMARY

The Head of Finance is a strategic financial leader and is accountable for providing tactical and strategic insight on key initiatives in partnership with operational team to drive results deliver and profitable growth from both new and existing accounts. Key responsibilities will include partnering with account teams and offshore partners to efficiently collect receivables, setting aggressive but achievable budget and forecasts for their customer portfolio and delivering accurate and insightful monthly results and key variance analysis.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree or certification preferred
  • 10-15 years’ experience building effective partnerships, driving results and building strong finance teams
  • 10+ years’ experience leading a Finance team
  • A recognized leader and manager of people in a national and/or global, customer service focused work environment
  • Experienced leader, providing financial guidance to senior leadership; ability to “push back” and challenge senior leaders to drive profitable growth
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, driving ability to navigate complex financials and contractual agreements
  • Excellent client engagement skills with a service-minded approach towards internal and external clients
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm and integrity
  • Experience with offshore delivery teams would be a plus
  • MS Office proficient, knowledge of Workday would be a plus

JOB DUTIES

  • *Responsible for financial review, reporting and analysis of results for portfolio of Tag Americas customers
  • *Clear communication of financial results, balanced scorecard and key variances to regional and global teams
  • *Lead finance team to be strategic partners, both developing and supporting key initiatives that improve profitability and grow the business; support ad hoc analysis with clear and flexible financial modeling and analysis, illustrate the range of potential outcomes to audiences of varying financial sophistication
  • *Drive effective and efficient cash collection for customer portfolio
  • *Establish close partnership with operational leadership, including the Americas CEO, CFO, and COO to drive growth, process innovation, reduce cost, improves efficiency and/or enhances client relationships
  • *Develop partnership and/or build offshore delivery team responsible for month end close and “1st level” FP&A activities, ensure quality standards and SLAs are met; direct judgmental entries and ensure they have the appropriate level of support
  • *Partner with client and operational teams to develop aggressive but achievable annual budget and quarterly forecasts; evolve to providing more real-time, rolling outlook on Americas business
  • Build strong relationships and partnerships across functions within the Americas, as well as with global finance team peers and leaders
  • Serve as senior client-facing finance leader; act as point of escalation for commercial negotiations and dispute resolution with clients and vendors
  • Develops and leads training, mentoring and development of Americas finance team members

The salary range for this position is $160k minimum - $180k maximum per annum. Compensation varies depending on location, job-related factors such as experience, responsibilities, and business needs.
