Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Departmental Expense Analyst/Manager overseeing the Telecom Expense Management Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telecom, departmental purchases/expenses, budgets, services, contracts, and billing structures. They will be responsible for optimizing our departments expenses, budget analysis, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze departmental expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Review and report on departments spend, budget, telecom contracts, invoices, and service agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize savings and expenses while maintaining service quality
• Track telecom usage and trends to forecast future expenses and plan accordingly
• Coordinate with telecom vendors to negotiate contracts and resolve billing discrepancies
• Identify coding discrepancies to ensure accurate cost center and GL allocations
• Provide recommendations to management on ways to reduce overall expenses and improve efficiency
• Manage a small Telecom Expense Team

Requirements:

Education and Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field and equivalent experience of 8+ years of related experience
• Strong understanding of finance, budgets, telecom services, contracts, and billing structures
