Reporting Manager         National Sales Manager

Summary

Pipeline Renewal Technologies (PRT) with a national and direct channel distribution model requires a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to represent the Western area of North America (WA,OR,CA,ID,NV,UT,AZ,AK,HI). PRT is an industry leading supplier of robotic sewer rehab equipment with a focus on UV curing products and accessories, air driven robotic cutters, and mechanical point repair.  A qualified RSM will need to support sales activity, conduct equipment delivery/turnover, assist equipment training, and conduct equipment demonstrations for direct channel customers and sales partners within territory and as assigned.  Candidate needs to have technical and hands on capabilities when demonstrating and training equipment functionality in field applications.  RSM will need to develop complete knowledge of several sewer cleaning, inspection, and rehab products, field applications and competitive products. Successful candidate will have experience in supporting, training, and selling capital equipment to municipalities, contractor and/or industrial accounts.

 Field Sales Requirements

  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere by asking for help and helping others when needed
  • Communication skills to build relationships by assessing customer needs and suggesting solutions through application of equipment sales and rentals
  • Ability to work productively amongst sales team, service team, management, and owners.
  • Monitor and report competitive activity in defined territory through various reporting applications
  • Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail in completing duties
  • Ability to communicate key selling features clearly and confidently to customers
  • Plan, organize, and execute specific sales and product initiatives
  • Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter
  • Working knowledge of how to populate and maintain accurate data using CRM tools (Sales Force or equivalent)
  • Perform all other requests deemed necessary to help promote and grow the business for PRT in respective territory or as assigned

Field Product Support

  • Complete technical understanding of the cleaning, inspection, and rehabilitation product lines as well as competitive products in the industry
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge/application expertise on features and benefits of all equipment carried and sold by PRT
  • Learn and apply practical field knowledge
  • Be a leader in marketplace, known as a knowledgeable resource and asset
  • Assist with trainings and development of the sales partner network on all current and new products
  • Assist customer in establishing and supporting a Preventive Maintenance program for pipe rehabilitation equipment
  • Support the parts and service departments, both in-house and sales partners
  • Conducting start-up and turnover of new equipment sales

Minimum Skills and Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Vocational Training/Certification
  • Valid drivers license with ability to operate company vehicle with tow behind trailer.
  • Technical/Industrial Sales Experience: 3 years
  • Customer Service: 1 year
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and can communicate both verbally and written to customers and team members
  • Ability to bend, squat, or climb on equipment frequently.  Stand or walk for extended periods on slippery or uneven jobsites.  Ability to lift and maneuver equipment up to 150lbs with no assistance.  May occasionally work in extremely hot or extremely cold weather conditions.

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $51,400.00 - $77,000.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
