JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Brand Ambassador to take ownership of the growing Tullamore D.E.W. portfolio.

It's a field-based role where you will work across a wide range of activities such as; brand education and advocacy, rate-of-sale, increasing visibility, and executing engaging consumer & trade activations in both retail and on-trade outlets in Republic of Ireland (ROI).

You will embody the brand and the values of the brand, forging connections to our target audiences with authenticity, passion, credibility and influence. Our Brand Ambassador will identify and build relationships with those who have influence in each audience: consumer, trade, media and internal. You'll be dynamic, entrepreneurial individual able to manage an intense travel schedule and execute a wide variety of activities on behalf of the brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Education:

  • Educating trade, media, consumers and influencers on our liquid credentials. Deconstruction tastings, brand immersions, whiskey dinners, tastings and events.

 

Advocacy:

  • Building relationships and managing yearlong path to advocacy programmes with Ireland’s best bartenders fully immersing them to become brand champions / advocates.

 

Trade Marketing:

  • Pioneer on-Trade visibility, distribution & ROS driving initiatives while building relationships with key bartenders and other On/Off Trade opinion formers, to inspire advocacy and to educate on the brand.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improving brand presence and driving distribution & supporting lighthouse accounts
  • Support commercial team and on premise specialists to identify and ‘look after’ key accounts with agreed KPIs in place.
  • Plan, deliver, review, and evaluate agreed range of activities to increase awareness, knowledge, and advocacy in line with current Brand plan and budget

 

Communications:

  • Digital savvy, managing social media platforms, content creator, PR & Events, NPD launch to engage both consumers and trade.

 

Reporting:

  • Compile monthly reports on activities, competitor activities, playbooks & advocacy campaigns.

 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Understanding of FMCG Industry (Alcohol Industry experience preferred) and the Irish retail & bar landscape.
  2. 2-3 years brand ambassador experience or brand related experience in the on trade.
  3. Proven ability to deliver Results & Meeting Customer Expectations.
  4. Shows strong initiative & drive and demonstrates an ability to work autonomously.
  5. Strong communication & confident presenter with both public speaking and PowerPoint presentation skills.
  6. Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task.
  7. Experienced in Microsoft Office Packages, namely Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  8. Full Driver’s License. Role will require regular travel within ROI.
