Municipal Civil 3D Designer

Responsibilities:

Produce CAD based and GIS files in a timely and accurate fashion

Uses Civil 3D Software to design underground deep utilities (storm, sanitary and water), site grading, roadway corridors, produce and earthwork quantities

Produce technical artwork and other graphical elements as needed

Work independently as well as part of a professional team

Prepares maps and figures using ArcGIS software

Assists with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other deliverables

Able to work independently, takes direction well from Engineers and complete designs in accordance with municipal standards according to the location of the project.

Qualifications:

Certificate or diploma from college program (or equivalent experience) where primary Civil 3D is the software of choice.

Minimum 2 years of experience on engineering consultant environment

Experience in Civil 3D and GIS mapping software

Experience working on municipal projects

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience with Microstation is an asset

Self-motivated and strong commitment to teamwork

Strong oral and written communication skills
