What We're Looking For

As a Senior Revenue Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire revenue accounting process, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, reporting, and analysis. This role involves working closely with various departments to optimise revenue processes, enhance financial controls, and support business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Controlling & Reporting: Calculate and ensure the accuracy and completeness  of revenue bookings and IFRS revenue, control key P&L lines (revenue & commissions), prepare revenue upload files for accounting, perform variance analyses to provide explanations for significant fluctuations in revenue and produce detailed reports for various stakeholders (FP&A, tax, reporting). 

  • Accounts Receivable: Monitor and manage accounts receivable ageing to ensure timely collection of funds.

  • Business Support & Advisory: Provide expertise and support to other business units on revenue-related matters (Tax, Treasury, Reporting, Analytics, Platform & Payments). Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive business growth.

  • External Communication: Liaising with external parties (payment providers, external auditors, etc.) on revenue matters.

  • System and Process Improvement: Take part in revenue automatization process in new ERP system, support with establishing revenue related controls, acting as Subject Matter Expert in other transformation projects.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue controlling, financial analysis, reporting or audit (preferably BIG4).

  • Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting principles.

  • In-progress financial qualifications (preferably ACCA).

  • Proven experience of working with big datasets and advanced Excel skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • At least Upper-intermediate level of English.
